Though you spend time learning of the future early enough

Though you could learn a lot of the wisdom to live

Do not underestimate the knowledge of age

Though not all older people be wise

You can always learn something from them

Humanity surprises me a lot

Though she learns from classrooms

It’s experience that’s her best teacher

How dangerous can that be!

Yet only then will she truly learn

I hope I could learn from others’ mistakes

Perhaps I should be more keen in my study

And even then I should tread carefully

Making sure I learn from my own mistakes

And always happy to listen from my elders

Do not be foolish to despise your elders

Though they may not always be right

They know something you don’t know

For time and experience are their friends
