Lest we forget where we go

That there are  pleasures in this world

Pleasures, this earthly body desire entangle

That we cannot deny for sure

But that we must behold of such?

That for sure not

We see the world around

Her beauty and glory enticing

But our hearts focused only ahead

where true riches and glory  await

And thus we live indifferent

True the world sees us differently

Fools even for sure

I would wonder, surely be depressed

If such a way they never perceived

We a people of a world beyond

Like Paul we have learnt

To live but as foreigners

Live with our sandals on, staff at hand

A true soldiers, civilian affairs never entangle

Pleasures of mother earth never beholding
